What payment methods do you accept?

Credit Card: MasterCard or Visa only via our secure payment gateway via PayFast.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT): Provided instantly and securely via PayFast.

Delivery & Returns

Folklore Coffee Company offers fast and reliable delivery options to ensure that you receive your coffee on time and in excellent condition. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, we have a hassle-free returns process in place. How often do you ship and deliver?

We ship every weekday. No deliveries over weekends or public holidays.

When will I get my order?

If your coffee order is received before 12 noon and you’re located in Gauteng, then it’s very likely you’ll be enjoying your coffee the following day. Delivery to other areas in South Africa can take up to 2-3 working days.

Can I get a refund?

If the packaging or actual coffee has been damaged and is unusable or it is not what you ordered please contact us at [email protected] so we can hook you up with the right stuff.

How should I store my coffee?

We recommend storing in a cool, dark place away from excessive heat. A kitchen cupboard or pantry works fine. The main killers are exposure to air and moisture, so avoid the fridge.

Should I store coffee in the freezer?

Some people do this and say it has no effect but we personally don’t use this method as it changes the cell structure in the beans when the moisture freezes and defrosts. If you have a commercial grade grinder suitable for single dosing I.e. EK43, there may be some merit to grinding from frozen due to shatter patterns and particle distribution, we feel it’s best to keep it out of the freezer unless you’re a scientist

My coffee tastes sour/very bitter.

Can I get samples?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer samples.
